Reaching the next generation will take bold new ministry models. Across the global Church, from Nairobi to São Paulo, Manila to Lagos, emerging leaders are already building them.

Yet, most lack the support pathways required to build and scale something new. Catalyze Lab exists to find these pioneers, form them, and accelerate their impact.

What Is It?

Catalyze Lab is a selective accelerator for early-stage ministries reaching the next generation around the world.

The program gathers a small global cohort and surrounds them with world class coaching, formation, community, and strategic relationships.

The program is built on OneHope’s global movement, and powered by Missional Lab’s venture design and acceleration platform.

Together, we’re catalyzing a new generation of ministries and movements to reach the next generation.

The Approach:

Find & Form Leaders. The Lab identifies high-potential ministry builders around the world and strengthens the spiritual, personal, and leadership foundations required for the work.

Design New Ministry Models. The Lab helps builders sharpen their ministry thesis, clarify their core audience, refine their theory of change, and define their next-stage priorities.

Accelerate Growth & Scale. The Lab helps builders strengthen their vision, build momentum, and develop strategic relationships with leading ministries, churches, mentors, and funders.

The Cohort:

01
Kickoff Gathering - Nashville
(Sep 16-18)

The cohort begins with a three-day intensive in Nashville, bringing together builders, mentors, program leaders, and ecosystem partners to form the community, clarify each ministry model, and set priorities for the months ahead.

Monthly Virtual Sessions

Builders participate in structured peer learning sessions throughout the cohort, sharing progress, receiving feedback, and continuing to sharpen their ministry model alongside mentors and global peers.

Capstone Celebration
Feb, Location TBD

The cohort concludes with a celebration and showcase, gathering builders, partners, funders, and ministry leaders to highlight progress, strengthen key relationships, and catalyze next-stage growth.

  • Catalyze Lab is for emerging ministry builders who are actively developing a new model for reaching the next generation through Scripture engagement, evangelism, discipleship, or more.

  • Early-stage means the ministry is already moving beyond an idea. You may have a pilot, active participants, church or ministry partners, a digital product, early traction, or clear demand from the people you serve. It’s becoming real in the world already.

  • We are looking for Scripture-centered ministries serving young people, including evangelism models, discipleship pathways, digital platforms, media initiatives, leadership development models, training programs, and church-based ministries.

  • We are looking for strong builders with clear calling, character, initiative, teachability, resilience, and a meaningful point of view on the people, context, or challenge they are called to serve.

  • No. Catalyze Lab is global. We are seeking builders from around the world who are developing scalable ministry models for the next generation. Catalyze Lab is built on OneHope’s 40 years of global work reaching the next generation with God’s word.

  • No. Catalyze Lab does not guarantee grants or investment for the initial cohort. The program connects builders to mentors, strategic partners, and a network of potential funders who may help support next-stage growth.

  • There is no tuition or program fee. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs for the in-person gatherings, but we can discuss sponsorships or scholarships as needed.

  • Catalyze Lab runs for six months. The cohort includes a three-day kickoff gathering in Nashville, monthly virtual sessions, and a February capstone celebration. The program is rigorous but designed for active ministry leaders.

  • Catalyze Lab is a new initiative from OneHope and Missional Labs.

    OneHope brings nearly 40 years of global experience helping children and youth encounter God’s Word through Scripture engagement, church partnerships, research, digital tools, and culturally contextual ministry models.

    Missional Labs brings a proven venture platform for forming ministry builders and helping launch new ventures for the Great Commission.

    Together, Catalyze Lab combines OneHope’s global movement with Missional Labs’ venture design, leadership formation, and ecosystem-building approach.
